• Air – Delhi experience worst
• Soil – Highly degraded, nutrients reduced 50%
• Temp – climate change, temp increase, AC, bill
• Humidity – water need of human and plant
• Rain – natural cleanser
• Let us do simple which contribute environment

3. Govt has done
• Forest policy 1988, a Major Initiative
• In spite of industrial era, 23% Green cover is maintained
• TN Godavarman Thrumulad 1992, - CAMPA, Apex court
• Mr.Salim- ali, ornithology institute, Coimbatore, MoEFCC
• Environmental Notification, 2006
• Smt Timmakka awarded Padmashri, many more
• Good, Plastic is getting banned
• Envis – websites give, what will reduction in rainfall -2100
ZBNF got attention in last budget, 10000 crores
a TURNING point

4. Govt shall do
• Let us not be like politicians, just opposing all
• Be constructive suggestion provider
– Solution for Threatened species, if found in NH
– Ex : LC – 5 nos, NT -10, VU- 25, EN – 50, CR-100
• Update IFS syllabus, Clear Mandate
• Create IES, as per Shri TSR Subramaniyam HLC
• Add environmental subjects to all 10th std
• EIA needs to be done better – Eucalyptus
• UN SDG, 17 goals – awareness program in TV
– One point /day, telecasted in all channel, before
their important program, like in Cinema theatre

5. We have done, Park, outside our House
• Added many trees struggling with goat
• Seed sowing is successfull, - Pungamia, Neem
• Stump planting - Mara malli, a ornamental plant
• Added some Endangered species also
– Red sanders, Rose wood
• Added birds friendly, Banyan tree
• Did some rain water harvesting methods
• Once fenced, will add more, written to collector

6. Our house
• Only plastic waste given
• Degradable waste for compost / to the park
• Well ventilated, NO AC / lighting –
– Rs 100 – 500 / 2 month, ready to forgo subsidy
• Solar water heater 10 years
• Less chemicals used for washing cloth / utensils
• Organic vegetable

7. In our farm, avoided Mango
• Old farm is rocky, no other tree grows
• Removed coconut, water consuming
• New farm is good soil - suitable for Mango
• Water is a problem, crossed 1000 ft
– Felt sucking mother earth
• So gone for tree growing, let us not competitive for
other farmers

8. Our farm
• 20 – 30000 trees in 50 Acres
• 100 varieties, Biodiversity
• Some are wild fruits, for birds
• Growing with rain, 110 % RWH
• Without any chemical fertilizers, not even a kg
Peacock, Fox, Jackal, Snakes, million of microbes
Nature simulated,
so named as “Brahmavanam”
We are more than Carbon neutral

9. Govt alone can not do, We also
• Buy organic products
• Use natural product, ex perfume
– Javadu perfume Rs 10,
– Sandal in all the rooms of our houses
• Lemon for head bath ……
– Indian economy, now govt say SELF - Reliant
• Do not waste any item, at least give it others
– Puvidam, a school
• Recycle what ever possible

10. Tiger cost Rs 2 Crores
NTCA, Nation Tiger conservation Authority
• 2010 population : 1706
• 2020 Population : 2967
• Net increase : 1261
• Total expenses : Rs 2520
• So, per tiger : Rs 2 Crores ( approx)
If we want to recover all endangered animals, image the
expenses, tax to be collected.
