2. Strengths
๏ต When it comes to strengths my old blog was overall fairly strong as not
only were we able to consistently post a high number of quality and
detailed posts we were also able to surpass the required number of posts
while making sure that each and every member of the group had an equal
amount of posts. Another one of our teams strengths was the large variety
of formats we used for our posts helping to ensure that our blog was both
varied and media rich. We were also able to start our filming quickly due to
our groups efficient organisation and choice of nearby locations this
allowed us plenty of time for any necessary reshoots making sure that our
thriller was top quality I intend to bring this level of organisation and
efficiency into my new group.
3. Weaknesses
๏ต However our group did suffer from a number of weaknesses which held us
back such as our lack of communication this was a significant problem due
to us being in different classes meaning we had trouble coordinating our
blog posts and filming times which significantly slowed us down. Another
problem our group faced was properly organizing our props and costumes
in a timely manner as a result our filming was significantly slowed down
due to the constant need to re film with the correct costumes as well
spend time editing the new footage wasting a significant amount of time.
This time our group will make sure to always keep strong line of
communication through services such as WhatsApp and ooVoo to ensure
we are able to properly organise ourselves and properly coordinate our
filming and blog posts preventing unnecessary arguments and time
wasting.
4. Opportunities
๏ต This year we will be making a music video as opposed to last years Thriller
meaning we will have to make use of the experience and skills we gained
last year and adapt them to suit the task at hand and make full use of this
opportunity to create an improved project. Another opportunity our group
has this year is due to working with different people from last year we will
have access to different skills and ideas from each new member that we
didnโt have last year giving us the opportunity to create a unique and high
quality project. Another advantage our new group has compared to last
year is some of our members have friends who take drama this will allow
us to produce a video with superior acting and lip synching and improving
the overall quality of our project.
5. Threats
๏ต However there are still several potential threats to our blogs success such
as members of our group being in different classes this could make it
difficult to coordinate our filming times meaning we could have less time
for both filming and editing which could have a negative impact on the
quality of our music video it is important our group makes sure to properly
communicate so we can create a film schedule suitable for all members.
Another threat our group faces is not all members know each other very
well this could it make it difficult for every member of the group to
properly voice their ideas which could affect team morale and overall bring
our blog down therefore it is important that we encourage each member
of the group to share their ideas in order to maximise the use of each
members different skills.
