1. My Initial Story Idea
My initial story idea for my film introduction is about a young professional athlete who had
serious family issues after his mother passed away, which caused him to take class A
drugs. Meanwhile, he still strives to train hard whilst working on his techniques and skills to
compete into a major competition. The main character Josh has an older brother called
Connie who always gives his younger brother support as he is the only family Josh has.
Unfortunately, Connie comes home early one day from work and is very disappointed and
heartbroken after finding out Josh has been taking drugs and is going though a terrible
depression. As an older brother would Connie takes Josh to counseling which helps him
realise there is better things in life than taking drugs. During a training session Josh has
been noticed by a professional coach who had offered him a chance to join his team and
enter the major competition that Josh has been waiting years to compete in. This
competition meant a lot to him because it gave him the opportunity to be the fastest in
Great Britain and to win a large amount of money him and his brother needed to buy their
mums grave stone.
