Pastor Paul John leads and speaks. Commencing a Christmas teaching series entitled ‘The songs of Advent’, he speaks on ‘Zechariah’s song of prophecy’ (Luke 1: 69-79).
There is a music practice following the morning service.

Shopping Centre, and approx. 10:30 am at Grovelands
Shopping Centre (outside Co-op). We hope to give out
chocolates and invitations to GFEC’s Christmas services.
We will conclude our morning with a hot drink at Cornerstone!
Monday 22nd December, 8:00 pm, at The Bay Tree pub, Grove. Please meet
at 7:45 pm so that we are ready to sing at 8:00 pm.

entitled ‘The songs of Advent’, Ian Reynolds speaks on ‘Mary’s song of
praise’ (Luke 1: 46 - 55). Includes communion. Youth group meet.
It’s Gwenda Lucas’ birthday on 10th December. Margaret Barber
has a card for folk to sign.
Community Carol Celebration: Friday 12th December, 7pm.
Carols, Bible readings, testimonies, Bible story and craft
activity for the children. Followed by festive refreshments.
Please support this event and invite friends, family etc. to join
us in this celebration of the real meaning of Christmas.
Stephanie Brown has agreed to do the GFEC internal Christmas Card
again this year. Please send your Christmas message/greeting that
you would like to pass on to GFEC family and friends, to Steph in
person, by phone or email at stepton@ntlworld.com by today.
Bernice will be giving out envelopes for designated giving for a Christmas
gift for the missionaries that GFEC support. Please ensure that your
money is placed in the envelope and put into the offering bag either today
or next Sunday. If you are a UK taxpayer, tax can be reclaimed on cash
amounts of £20 or less – please also mark the envelope SCGA. Thank you.
