2. Jonas & François is a French directing team of music videos and commercials. They have
collaborated with a range of artists such as Depeche Mode, Kanye West, Iggy Azalea,
Muse, Madonna and most recently Jack White
Jonas and François have achieved a number of prestigious nominations and awards for
their work

3. Since 2006, the director duo have widely showcased a unique and quirky style for
the contemporary music video, frequently involving artistic concepts and
impressive graphics

4. While Jonas & François are not as recognised and acclaimed as the likes of Spike
Jonze, there’s no doubt that their inspired body of work is admirable, and will, if it
has not already done so, have a significant influence on music video production
The video for Jack White’s “Lazaretto” is one of my favourites from the pair, and it’s
great use of minimalism and artistic concept will surely have an influence upon the
music video I create with my group
