1) Problems are inevitable, unpredictable, come in many forms, and have important purposes.
2) The four main purposes of problems are to purify faith, fortify patience, and sanctify character by making us more like Jesus.
3) When facing problems, we should rejoice, request wisdom from God, and relax through faith that God will provide what we need to endure the trial.

Jesus:

to handle your problems

trials ..." v. 1

the Bible is: "In everything give
thanks for this is the will of God
concerning you in Christ Jesus." I

took everything -- my wedding
ring, watch. I stood there naked

wife, my family, my possessions --
they could not take away my
freedom to choose how I was
going to respond." Victor Frankl
Jewish psychologist

times. His praise shall
continually be in my mouth.”

who gives generously to all without finding fault
and it will be given to him.” (v.5)

he will receive the crown of life that
God has promised to those who love
Him.” (v.. 12)
