which summarizes the
article.

4. Main image:
The main image is always of a celebrity, in
which the article is based upon. The main
image is usually the only image on the page
which the article is based around. The lighting
of the main image relates to the genre of the
magazine.

5. Article:
The article on a double page spread is
always set out in columns. Also, the
layout of the article is based around the
main image. Usually the article is an
interview with the celebrity.

6. Background:
The background on a double page is
usually one plain colour. This is so
that the writing is easy to read and
the background does not distract us
from the main image.

7. A Pull Quote:
On almost every double page there
is a pull quote. This is a quote which
is said in the article and is used in
the title.

8. Columns:
There is always a layout of columns on a
double page spread. The number of
columns can vary from 2-5, this is so that
the layout is tidy and the article is clear to
read.

9. Drop-Cap:
On every double page there is a drop-cap. This is when the
first letter of the article is bigger, bolder, and capitalised
compared to the rest of the font.
