How did you attract / address your audience?
GENDER
 PLOT – The plot will relate to both male and female as it has a
supernatural element which doesn’t pinpoint a certain gender as it
isn’t an issue for a specific gender
 MUSIC – The music will be sinister to set the tone of a horror
thriller
 COSTUME – The clothes worn are normal and adds to the reality
of the opening, females can relate to it and males also.
GENDER
 DIALOGUE – It may be more recognised by the female population
as they are at a sleepover which they may have done before and the typical
what girls talk about.
 HUMOUR – Within our thriller the girls are seen talking about prank
calling a boy which the majority of females will relate to and the males as
they were on the other side of those phone calls.
 LOCATION – Average sleepovers many females had when they were
little and see all the things they get up to.
INTERESTS + HOBBIES
 PLOT – Having girly sleepovers and playing games
 MUSIC – Dark and sinister music to highlight the genre of a
horror thriller
 COSTUME – Appeal to people who like to spend time with their
friends
 HUMOUR – The playing of the games can relate to anyone
INTERESTS + HOBBIES
 LOCATION – Our thriller has a dark and supernatural element to it
and this can be similar to many Sci-Fi and horror movies and their fans
 DIALOGUE – Much of the dialogue is friendly as in the opening
minuets they are mostly at the sleepover thus will appeal to people who
enjoy spending time with their friends
 Overall our thriller would appeal to those people who like to get out
and hang with their friends but also those Sci-Fi and horror fans with the
supernatural element.
LOCATION
 PLOT – Beginning of the thriller implies a normal teenage British
life
 MUSIC – Instruments used are of western origin
 COSTUME – The characters are all wearing very trendy clothes
that can be found in many average British shops such as Top
Shop, Newlook and H&M
LOCATION
 HUMOUR - The humour is very British as they are seen to be playing
a game called ‘21 Dares’ and implying that they will prank call someone
who they like, there is the British idea of playfully teasing your friends.
 LOCATION – conveys an ordinary working class home and the style
of the hotel is uniquely British for example the size.
 DIALOGUE – All the characters speak with very noticeable London
accents and slang.
CLASS
 PLOT – Our thriller follows ordinary working class girls
 MUSIC – The music is very typical of a horror thriller
 COSTUME – The clothes are found in normal British highway
shops which many working class people can afford
 HUMOUR – the games featured for example ‘21 Dares’ and
making prank calls
CLASS
 LOCATION – The settings are of a working class home and a
known affordable hotel
 DIALOGUE – The accents are very distinct although sometimes
they can sound very posh although most is very realistic of the
working class
AGE
 PLOT – The game ‘21 Dares’ can be related to teenagers and
young people but also those who used to play such games in the past
 MUSIC – The music can appeal to all kinds of people perhaps
more so the older people as it is instrumental but for the younger
people as it raises the suspense and tension
 COSTUME – The clothes can be seen on many young people
today and within main British shops for young people
AGE
 HUMOUR – Prank calls can relate to teenagers and young people
and the teasing
 LOCATION – Sleepovers appeals very much so to younger
generation
 DIALOGUE – The girls use slang and terms that are more
relatable to the young.
