Everyone depends on junk removal services to dispose of waste from their household. But what will you do in pandemic situations such as Covid-19, where social distancing and self-quarantine is the key to prevention? Should you wait till the dust clears off? You can take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the waste collectors as well as your safety. Take a look at this presentation
2. Regular waste collection services are a key-element
for the quality of our urban lives.
During the coronavirus crisis, we should ensure that waste collection

7. Spring
Cleaning
Many residents may want to use their
time at home to get a jump on spring
cleaning.
But, placing large amounts of garbage
puts a strain on the waste collectors
during these unprecedented times.
Do your part and help ensure these front
line workers can get home safely and in a
reasonable time to be with their families.
8. Help make waste
collection safer for
front-line staff.
Place used tissues and other
organic material, in paper bags or
certified compostable bags. Bags
must be tied before being placed in
the mini bin so they don't fall out.
Garbage shouldn't be loose in
garbage containers and should be
bagged.
9. Hold on to your large
household items
If you need to dispose
of a large item, you can
take the item to
a Regional landfill
site for disposal.

Garbage
Personal hygiene items must be
tied and bagged including personal
hygiene products, used tissues,
cleaning cloths, face masks, gloves,
and similar items used for cleaning
and personal use.
All food waste/scraps must be
placed in a kraft/paper bag or
wrapped in newspaper
11. If you or a member of
your household is sick,
all personal waste
(garbage, recycling,
food scraps) must be
double-bagged and
tightly sealed and
