Scenario of pandemic & lockdown. All human activity were stopped due to pandemic The world was under lockdown & now phase wise things are coming to normal. Only essential services were working. Medical, pharmaceutical, daily need product(vegetables, milk, grocery) Banking facility, health workers, cleanliness workers, police force & security were working.
Cleanliness & sanitization as safety measures. COVID19 virus is spread by coming in direct contact with the respiratory droplets of an infected person. If an infected person coughs or sneeze in an open place the virus settle on the surrounded place. If one comes in contact with that place & touch that surface he may get infected if he touches his nose or mouth.
Cleanliness & sanitization as safety measures. The most effective way to stop spread of virus is to follow cleanliness & sanitization like we have never done before. We need to sensitize everyone about it. All must learn to follow these measures. With this there is need to make awareness among all working groups & even the one who are involved in cleanliness activity.
We can divide cleanliness measures in two category Personal Cleanliness  Washing hand frequently for 20-30 seconds.  Bathing  Washing clothes  Cleanliness of all personally used item; mobile, watch, wallet, bag, toys, PC, Laptop Cleanliness of the surrounding Use of alcohol based solution for cleaning Use of disinfects. Cleaning frequently touched surfaces. Cleaning/washing things brought from outside
Personal Cleanliness Using hand gloves Washing hands after sneezing, coughing, using restroom, washing clothes & coming from outside. Removing shoes outside the house Changing clothes after returning home Cleaning clothes, towel, bed sheet frequently. Personally used item should be kept in a bag after coming from outside e.g. mobile, watch, wallet, pen, handkerchief Washing hands before & after using the mask
Cleanliness of the surrounding Using water for cleaning frequently touched surfaces; door handles, kitchen cabinet, sink, taps, mobiles, PC, Laptop, tables, chairs Keeping the room ventilated Soap/detergent solution can be sprayed on frequently used surfaces Cold and hot water are equally effective at killing germs and viruses
Sanitization Use sanitizer frequently; after coughing, sneezing, coming from crowded place, using rest room Rub sanitizer that contains (60% of alcohol) on all parts of hands and rub both hands together for 20-30 seconds until hands are dry. Avoid using unnecessary gadgets while going outside Before putting mask & after removing it. Sanitizing product brought from outside
For household sanitization use a disinfectant product that contain (70% of alcohol) Let the disinfectant product stay on surface for several minutes Read instruction carefully before using the disinfectant product Use hand gloves Avoid using natural product it may not be effective in killing germs and viruses
Conclusion  COVID19 has brought change to cleanliness & sanitization practices  People on public places need to be more cautious as it can lead to spread of virus at faster rate if proper cleanliness & sanitization method are not followed.  Personal hygiene & cleanliness & sanitization of surrounding is needed  Many new cleanliness & sanitization product are being launched & available in the market, & through online shopping
Health workers are working continuously for keeping the surrounding clean. Cleanliness & sanitization will also keep dengue, malaria at bay Workplace should follow proper cleanliness & sanitization practices in order to protect its employees.
