(Students have 4 years old so, writing and reading could not be included)

Video (with my computer), photocopies, pencils and flash cards.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: Students watch the video
they have to sing recognizing each animal and the clock number.

 Seating arrangement: Sitting on the carpet singing the hello song and
watching the video, then they have to paint the photocopies on their
desk.

 Assessment: what will be assessed and how: I will assess the kids by
checking if they can identify the animals, numbers and colors that have
been introduced by point the number of the animal and then painting
each animal with the gave color. 

I will show some animals pictures that they already know: “Do you remember
what it is?
Yes!, It´s a mouse!!! What is it? Yes, it´s a
monkey!! Good!!!
Who remember? What is it?
Yes!! It´s a snake!!! Very good!!!
And What color are they?
I will do a revision of the colors they know: green, blue, yellow, red.

I will show the video “Hockory, Dickory dock”. As they know the song
because the teacher sing it in previous lessons but they have never
watch it. So, they will sing with watching the video. I will ask students
to watch it two times.
Development (20 minutes)
I will show them some pictures, of the animals:
Teacher: This is the mouse, who´s first in the song! And What´s next?
Student: the snake!!
Teacher: Yes, Mijael!! Very good it is the cat!! And what´s next? Do you
remember?
Student: Ardilla
Teacher: In English is … yes! It´s squirrel
After that I will ask them the colors of the animals:
Do you remember (when I made my observation I realize that the teacher
always ask them “do you remember and they answer: yes…. Al together) what
color is it?
(I will show them a red PENSIL).
Yes, it´s red!!
What color is it? (green)
I will show them all the colors known: red, green, yellow, and blue. Then
I will show them a brown pensil:
T: Do you know this color? The will most probably say in Spanish
“marron” ok, but in English we say BROWN, repeat brown(they repeat all
together)
Then I will show them an orange pensil. And this one? What color is it?
“Naranja” I will say: ok, yes but in English is orange, what color is it?
Students will answer: “Orange!”
T: “Very Good!!!”
T: Know let´s sit on your chair.
I will give them some copies of the animals (one animal for each
student), I will say “the monkey is?” They will answer “marron” yes but
do you remember in English brown… ok paint brown the monkey.
The snake is (I will show them a red pencil) so they will say “red”, Ok
yes!! It is red!
The squired is… (I will show them a yellow pencil) Yellow, Yes!! Very
good it is yellow!!(miming and making them to repeat the color of the
pencil)
The same with the cat(green) and the elephant (blue)
After that I will check if they are doing well painting correctly each
animal and after a few minutes I will say: “Ok it´s time” I will pick up
their copies by asking: “What´s your name?” each student will answer I
will write the name on the page and I will put it all together on my desk.
T: Very Good to all of you!!! Beautiful animals!!
Ok everyone to the carpet!!!(they will run to sit in the carpet)
T: Quiet, quiet as a mouse and no one knows we´re in the house!!
(gesturing silence) so, the children say: shhhh!! With their finger in the
mouth. (they feel comfortable with the song as the teacher always sing
that song to make them shut up and pay attention to the next activity)
Closure (10 minutes)
T: Ok, do you remember? I will show them the new colors to check if they
understood.
Revising the animals: I will ask them, Do you remember? who was first in the
song? They will answer: “the mouse”
T: and what color is it? Yes!! It is brown!!!And, what´s next? I will point with my
finger…
S: snake
T: yes, very good!! What´s next?... (with the six animals seen)
I will sing the good bye song and the put on your jacket song too.
Homework
On their communication book I will write to their parents:
Hoy aprendimos una canción en nuestra clase de Inglés. Me gustaría si es
posible que busquen en internet la misma y la traten de repasar en casa. Se
llama “Hickory, Dickory, Dock”, les encantó. No importa si ustedes no saben
Inglés solo pongan la canción y ellos seguramente la van a cantar.

Greetings: Hello song!
We will sing the previous class song “hickory dickory dock!” They love the
song… showing them the pictures of the animals:
Then, I will ask them:
T: Do you remember the monkey? I will show them again the monkey and then
I will point out with my finger a poster of two monkeys that they already have
in the wall (sad and happy monkey)
Presentation (5 minutes)
If the monkey is feeling happy
“If the monkey´s feeling happy it has a happy face,
If the monkey´s feeling happy, it has a happy face!
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha

If the monkey´s feeling angry, it has an angry face,

I will show the video “If the monkey´s feeling happy”. They know the
song because the teacher sang it in previous lessons but they have
never watched it. So, they will sing while watching the video. I will ask
students to watch it twice.
Development (20 minutes)
I will show them a four monkeys pictures, with the four seen feelings. I will say:
Look!! Here I have four monkeys!!
Teacher: This monkey is?
Student: happy!!
Teacher: Yes!! Very good it is happy!! The happy monkey is yellow!!
Student: yellow
Teacher: This monkey is???
S: enojado!!! (Some of them will say, angry!!)
T: In English, do you remember?
S: angry!!
T: yes!!! Very good!! And angry monkey is RED!!
S: red, red…
T: Very good!!! Sad monkey is…(showing a blue marker)
S: blue!!!
T: yes, very good! It is blue!! And the tired on is green, ok!
Let´s go!!
I will give them some copies, asking them to paint each monkey with the
correct given color. I will sing the song while they are painting…”If the
monkey´s feeling happy…”
I will check if they are doing well painting correctly each monkey and after a
few minutes I will say: “Ok it´s time” I will pick up their copies by asking:
“What´s your name?” each student will answer I will write the name on the
page and I will put it all together on my desk.
T: Very Good to all of you!!! Beautiful animals!!
Ok everyone to the carpet!!!(they will run to sit in the carpet)
T: Quiet, quiet as a mouse and no one knows we´re in the house (gesturing

Development (20 minutes)
I will ask kids to play a game.
I will hand out two pictures in my hands one of the mom and the other the
doctor. In a pad on the floor I will ask kids to jump as the monkeys and when
we stop singing they will fell off on the floor/pad. Many times, singing and
paying attention to the numbers, “one little monkey… two little… three little…”
encouraging them to sing and showing me with their fingers the number.
After that I will say “look at me!! Are you tired?, (I will show them a tired face
by yawing) or you are happy (smile face) and you want to go on singing and
dancing!!!!
Ok let´s do it again!! One more time!!!!
Very good!!! Very nice those monkeys!!!
Do you remember?
What´s the monkey´s color?
Yes!! Very good!!! It is brown!!
Let´s go to the carpet!!!(they will sit down) I will sing:

Then, we will sing the song of feelings that we sang previous class, “If the
monkey is feeling happy…”
T: Very good!! How nice that faces!!! Who is happy? , very good!!! And who is
sad?? Tired? Is anybody angry? Ok very good! (kids love looking at the different
faces, so when I ask them theis feeling I show them my happy, tired, sad face)
Closure (10 minutes)
T: Ok, do you remember? I will show them the monkey. What is it doing?
Revising the actions: I will ask them, Do you remember? Yes JUMPING, FALL
OFF of the …? BED yes!! Of the bed!!
T: What color is the monkey? Yes!! It is brown. Most probably they would say
the color or some other words in Spanish so, I will say, “In English do you
remember?” (every time they speak in Spanish) The teacher always says, in
English do you remember? (so, it will be familiar to them my question).
Goodbye, goodbye…. To you…(sing the song) After that we will sing, “put on
your jacket, put on your jacket….”

Homework
On their communication book I will write to their parents:
Hoy tuvimos nuestra clase de Inglés. Les quería pedir si pueden buscar un
objeto orange (naranja) o Brown(marrón) para la próxima clase (martes). La
idea es que ellos busquen entre sus cosas puede ser un peluche, algún juguete
lo que ellos más les guste para trabajar en clase. Por supuesto vuelve a casa el
mismo dia.

They are boys (pointing with my finger) and these are girls!!
Ok, now I will say, Girls are orange and boys are brown!
(I will sing the song while they are painting)
T: Ok let´s paint!! Remember, girls are WEARING orange CLOTHES and boys
are WEARING brown CLOTHES!!!!
T: Very good!!! Those monkeys are very nice!!! Very good!!!

S: brown

Let´s go to the carpet!!!(they will sit down) I will sing:
T: Quiet, quiet as a mouse and no one knows we´re in the house!!
(gesturing silence) so, the children say: shhhh!! With their finger in the
mouth. (they feel comfortable with the song as the teacher always sing
that song to make them shut up and pay attention to the next activity)
Then, we will sing the song of feeling again “If the monkey is feeling happy…”
encouraging them to show me their angry, sad, happy and tired faces.
T: Very good!! How nice those faces are!!! Who is happy? , very good!!! And who
is sad?? Tired? Is anybody angry? Ok very good! (kids love looking at the
different faces, so when I ask them about their feeling I show them my happy,
tired, sad face)
Closure (10 minutes)
T: Ok, do you remember? I will show them the monkey. What is it doing?
Revising the actions: I will ask them, Do you remember? Yes JUMPING, FALLING
OFF of the …? BED yes!! Of the bed!!
T: What color is the monkey? Yes!! It is brown. Most probably they would say
the color or some other words in Spanish so, I will say, “In English do you
remember?” (every time they speak in Spanish) The teacher always says, in
English do you remember? (so, it will be familiar to them my question).
Goodbye, goodbye…. To you…(sing the song) After that we will sing, “put on
your jacket, put on your jacket….”

On their communication book I will write to their parents:

Development (20 minutes) I will show them some pictures, of the animals: Teacher: This is the mouse, who´s first in the song! And What´s next? Student: the snake!! Teacher: Yes, Mijael!! It´s squirrel After that I will ask them the colors of the animals: Do you remember (when I made my observation I realize that the teacher

(green) I will show them all the colors known: red, green, yellow, and blue. Then I will show them a brown pensil: T: Do you know this color? The will most probably say in Spanish “marron” ok, but in English we say BROWN, repeat brown(they repeat all together) Then I will show them an orange pensil. And this one? What color is it? “Naranja” I will say: ok, yes but in English is orange, what color is it? Students will answer: “Orange!” T: “Very Good!!!” T: Know let´s sit on your chair. I will give them some copies of the animals (one animal for each student), I will say “the monkey is?” They will answer “marron” yes but do you remember in English brown… ok paint brown the monkey. The snake is (I will show them a red pencil) so they will say “red”, Ok yes!! It is red! The squired is… (I will show them a yellow pencil) Yellow, Yes!! Very good it is yellow!!(miming and making them to repeat the color of the pencil) The same with the cat(green) and the elephant (blue) After that I will check if they are doing well painting correctly each animal and after a few minutes I will say: “Ok it´s time” I will pick up their copies by asking: “What´s your name?” each student will answer I will write the name on the page and I will put it all together on my desk. I will show them again the monkey and then I will point out with my finger a poster of two monkeys that they already have in the wall (sad and happy monkey) Presentation (5 minutes) If the monkey is feeling happy “If the monkey´s feeling happy it has a happy face, If the monkey´s feeling happy, it has a happy face! S: enojado!!! (Some of them will say, angry!!) T: In English, do you remember? S: angry!! T: yes!!! Very good!! And angry monkey is RED!! S: red, red… T: Very good!!! Sad monkey is…(showing a blue marker) S: blue!!! T: yes, very good! It is blue!! And the tired on is green, ok! Let´s go!! I will give them some copies, asking them to paint each monkey with the correct given color. I will sing the song while they are painting…”If the monkey´s feeling happy…” I will check if they are doing well painting correctly each monkey and after a few minutes I will say: “Ok it´s time” I will pick up their copies by asking: “What´s your name?” each student will answer I will write the name on the page and I will put it all together on my desk. Ok everyone to the carpet!!!(they will run to sit in the carpet) T: Quiet, quiet as a mouse and no one knows we´re in the house (gesturing silence) so, the children say: “shhhh!!” with their finger in the mouth.
