5. Screw chiller

CW in shell)

8. AHU
• AHU’s 1 to 6 are for 17m CCR, 8.5m CER & UPS/Battery
charger room
• Capacity of each AHU (1 to 6) : 62000 CMH
• AHU 7 & 8 are for SWAS room
• Capacity of each AHU (7 & 8) : 10000 CMH
• AHU motor is a VFD driven drive
• AHU blower is a DIDW backward curved centrifugal type
• Each AHU have 1 pre filter, fine filter and Cooling coil
10. AHU SYSTEM
• HEPA filter (high efficiency particulate arresting) :
it removes 99.97% of airborne particles of size 0.3micron m
commonly used in medical facilities, aircrafts, automobiles etc
• Temp. and humidity sensors are provided in return air duct to
AHU room
• Three way mixing valve – to control return air temp. and
humidity
• Strip Heaters -
Will be functioning at higher limits of RH,
Interlocked with RA temp, AHU running & safety thermostat

• Motorised fire dampers (MFD): normally in open
position but in case of any fire alarm, all these MFD’s
