- DESIGN – DON’T LIKE THE BLACK.CAN WE AVOID IT THROUGHOUT? IT MAKES EVERYTHING I SAY VERY GLOOMY. I am here to present to you some of these theories for you to mull over. Where will your firm be in 15 years?
- DESIGN – WHERE IS THE TITLE PAGE THAT SAYS LEGAL INDUSTRY? PLEASE PUT IT BEFORE THIS SLIDE.
- This is due to the fact that less people are going to law school given the increasing number of lawyers that cant find jobs post graduation. Becoming an attorney is no longer seen as a stable profession.
- DESIGN – NEED DESIGN FOR THIS SLIDE The role of lawyers will also morph away from being purely legal counsel. Law schools will have three academic curriculums to choose from- mediators, business consultanting and legal specialists. Legal specialists will be a highly specialized topic and will go to work for big law. 2 YEAR curriculum – 1st year general law, 2nd depends on journey you take.
- Lawyers will also stray away from their traditional dutities as purely legal cousel and become well versed in mediation. There will be an overall trend towards favoring mediation as a means of resolution. There will be a decrease in class action and litigation and mediation will become the norm.
- When you and someone else have a problem, you will automatically be connected with a mediator
- Information will be readily available.

- We are already seeing this. Large firms are moving all non-attorneys to the Mid-West to decrease overhead. Next it will be allowing associates to work remotely. Then partners.
- DESIGN – REFORMAT IMAGE Firms will be able to track what associates and staff are working on, how long they spend, and even provide employees with games to stimulate them when they see that their productivity goes down. UpWOrk and Elance arlready allow you to spy on virtual assistant
