SAVAS visits EVALAM facilities
The leader of the glass distribution in Italy, the company SAVAS, carry
out a visit to EVALAM in northern Spain, where they toured the factory
and were pleasantly pleased with the high and modern manufacturing
technology.
The visiting delegation was headed by SAVA CEO Ms. Daniela Dori,
Commercial Director Mr. Leo Mantelli Group, the Director Dr. Cesare
Bircolotti financial and Responsible EVALAM Italy Mr. Marco Palazzolo.
At the end of the visit, Ms. Dori highlighted some of the challenges that
glass manufacturers and distributors are facing in Italy‐ Where SAVAS is
the leader in the distribution sector ‐ and among them the importance of
leading this strategic alliance with PUJOL and the exclusivity of EVALAM
products for Italy‐
Some of those challenges are expanding the niche market from the traditional sale of glass to commodity
into services and products with high added value and positioning themselves as market leaders laminated
glass in Italy with PUJOL and EVALAM for their unique products and world‐leading technology and services.
The success of PUJOL with EVALAM is the sum of experience and technological development that meets the
requirements of continuous increase in energy efficiency and increasingly stringent characteristics in
laminated glass used for both architectural facades and enclosures and interior design. The EVALAM
products are based on a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate (EVA), chemically enhanced and processed
through an exclusive method, with greater transparency and greater market resistance.
The Italian firm SAVAS, Italian leader in the distribution of glass, is from March 1, exclusive distributor of
PUJOL‐EVALAM in the Italian market. With this representation, SAVAS expects to increase its turnover by
10% in two years, which currently stands at € 21 million.
