AREAS OF INTERESTS
M.Tech Project:
Transesterification of jatropha oil using waste materials as solid catalyst.
Description:
The heterogeneous CaO catalyst was synthesized from the renewable sources such as
clam shells (CS) and egg shells (ES). The mixed composition of the CS-ES catalyst was
utilized for the preparation of biodiesel via transesterification of jatropha oil. Mixed CS-
ES catalyst (70% CS and 30 % ES) obtained a maximum biodiesel conversion of
97.54%. The composite metal oxides catalyst was synthesized from industrial scale
deposits which was utilized for the preparation of biodiesel via transesterification of
jatropha oil.
B.Tech Project:
Production of dichloro tri fluoro ethane (R123).
Description:
Calculation of amount of material and energy entering and leaving from each unit of the
process based on the plant capacity.
Industrial Training:
I have completed one month industrial training in “Aurobindo Pharma Limited”
Pydibhemavaram, at Andhrapradesh.
Description:
Operation of distillation columns in solvent recovery section and physical
observation of heat exchangers, reaction vessels.
