The “Tech Award of the Year” prize is awarding a Tech Leader, his Team and company for their outstanding performance in the past year. Who is eligible ? Leaders & their Tech Teams who developed software inhouse for their company and/or are recognised for their contribution to the tech community. The developed software solution should help its organisation/community to create a disruptive innovation. The Tech Leader should be a CTO or a Tech Expert (Software engineer, Data, AI, Security, Blockchain Expert) recognised by its peers in the Tech community.

2. Who can win the award
The “Tech Award of the Year” prize is awarding a Tech Leader, his Team and company for their
outstanding performance in the past year.

● The developed software solution should help its organisation/community to create a disruptive
innovation.
● The Tech Leader should be a CTO or a Tech Expert (Software engineer, Data, AI, Security,
Blockchain Expert) recognised by its peers in the Tech community.
Note: The Award can not be attributed to a CIO, COO, Project Manager. We are looking for a person focused on the beautiful aspects of software development.

3. The Award
● The prize is awarded by nexten.io and hosted on ITnation’s
Golden-i “Awards & Gala”
● Eligible Tech leaders are working in the Luxembourgish Tech
community (Start-ups, SME’S, Large companies)
● A long list of 100 Tech Leaders is established by an advisory
board using inputs of the tech community.
● Then, a short list of the top 25 Tech leaders will be submitted
by nexten.io for an online vote.
● The winner will be unveiled at the ITNation - Golden-i “Gala
and Awards” ceremony on the 16th of may in the PwC
premises.

5. Agenda & Process
● End of April:
○ Announcement of a long list of nominees.
● 1st week May:
○ Start of online votings.
○ The long list will be shared with the tech community via different media (ITnation, Linkedin, Twitter, …)
○ A short-list of 5 finalists will be established based on the voting results of the Tech community.
● 2nd week May:
○ Advisory Board selects the Winner of the award based on the short-list of the 5 finalists.
● 16th of May:
○ During the ITnation-Golden-i “Gala&Awards” Ceremony, the winner of the Award will be announced and the
price will be handed over
○ Press & social media coverage of the Winner and its Team & Company
