NiSoCLEAN is a compression block with an hygienic design spe-
cifically conceived for food industry products, especially for pro-
biotic foods containing fibre and solid parts, baby food, viscous
condiments and protein-rich foods. The innovative mechanics
of the NiSoCLEAN compression block, designed according to
the best hygienic regulations, allows the product to flow con-
tinuously, reducing the shear stress passages and facilitating
the fluid feed into the homogenizing valve with consequent
optimization of the entire homogenization process.

2. Technical features
The technological evolution based on the OpenXFLOTM
compres-
sion head has optimized some technical details in order to make
NiSoCLEAN perfectly hygienic and easily cleanable:
• dead space reduction
• absence of springs and spacers
• improved gaskets flushing
This new design with reduced dead-ends permits NiSoCLEAN
to be the best solution for homogenizers with high hygienic re-
quirements.
NiSoCLEAN is available for homogenizers from model Ariete
NS3011 up to Ariete NS5355, for working pressure up to 600
bar.
The NiSoCLEAN configuration allows a considerable saving of
water, cleaning agents and time with a lower environmental
impact and a reduced energy consumption during the process
activities.

3. Applications of homogenization
The NiSoCLEAN special design is suitable for highly viscous and
sticky products, such as:
• Viscous condiments and dressing
• Baby food
• Probiotic foods with long fibers and solid pieces
• High proteins content special dairy and food products

NiSoCLEAN is a compression block design which can be installed
on standard drive end as option, to comply with special products
requirements.
Typical working pressure rating is 150-450 bar, special execu-
tions for flow rate and pressure rating are available upon re-
quest.
NiSoCLEAN is applicable on machine models Ariete NS3011,
NS3015, NS3018, NS3024, NS3030, NS3037, NS3045, NS3055,
NS3075, NS3090, NS3110, NS5132, NS5180, NS5250, NS5355.
