Emmanuel has developed a more than 25 Years’ experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management,
as Manager, Director, Consultant and Transition Manager in 5 different countries and in various kinds of
Industries.
After a MBA in HEC Liege he started his career in the Petroleum (Esso) and in the Beverage Industry
(Ambev) where he developed a strong Customer Service Orientation in the Sales Department of these 2
major companies.
After 5 years, in 1984, he joined the Pharmaceutical Industry as Production and Procurement Planner in the
Beecham factory in Belgium. In this Plant he also developed his Supply Chain and People Management
background by taking the responsibility of Warehouse and Distribution for Europe.
In 1990 after the merger between SmithKline and Beecham, he has accepted the Job of Planning Manager
for the 4 SmithKline Beecham Plants in France.
During his 6 years’ experience in this country, he successfully led:
- The Production Planning during a severe restructuring of SB Industrial Network, while maintaining an
outstanding Customer Service.
- The first implementation, in less than 6 months, of an ERP in the SB Corporation
- The deployment of the Lean Manufacturing and team Based Organization program (Simply Better Way)
in the French industrial network.
In 1996 and 1997 he accepted 2 temporary missions, first in China then in Brazil, to lead locally the
deployment of the Global Supply Chain Standardization Program together with the BPCS and JDE
implementation.
In 1998 he has decided to face a new challenge and moved in the Electronic Industry, as Operations
Director of the Honeywell Plant in the North of France (Amiens). In this position he has experienced the
management of a large group (130 people).
His major achievement with Honeywell was to succeed to bring down Working Capital to 1%. He has also
developed a Wall to Wall Supply Chain network including Customers (OEM) and Contract Manufacturer.
In order to continue the enrichment of his experience in other kinds of Industries and cultures, Emmanuel
has decided in 2000 to join a French Consulting group, Proconseil, as Senior Consultant in France and
Brazil.
Within this company he has led various missions in Supply Chain and Lean Manufacturing in the Aircraft,
Automotive, Food, and Steel Industry.
After 2 years, looking for more challenging assignments, Emmanuel started a career of Free Lance
Consultant in the Pharmaceutical Industry, where he successfully leads short term missions for key players
in the Pharmaceutical Business (GlaxoSmithKline, Aventis Pasteur, Aventis Pharma, LFB, Servier, Lonza).
Since 2005 he started to work essentially as Transition Manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

UCB Pharma
Between 2005 and mid-2007, after having implemented in the UCB Belgian Site the main Supply Chain
Processes (Sales & Operations Planning, MPS, MRP, Scheduling, Master Data Management), he led the
SAP implementation project for the Supply Chain, before taking the direct management of the Planning
team.
In 2008 Emmanuel has accepted a long term assignment in Ireland, in the Schwartz Pharma Plant, where he
first took the role of Supply Chain Manager after a restructuring of the Department, before leading the SAP
remodeling plan for the Planning and Distribution.
In 2011 he went back to the Belgian site to rebuild the Planning/Master data and restore the Supply Chain
processes that were seriously affected during a restructuring phase of the Company.
In 2012 he was appointed as Project leader for the SAP implementation in the Clinical Supply Department.
The same year, he also replaced the Supply Chain manager of the Belgian site during her maternity leave.
In 2013, he fulfilled during 6 months, the Operational Role of Global Master Planner, together with the
development and in the implementation of a new Supply Chain Collaborative model with his most important
CMO, Aesica Ltd.
GlaxoSmithKline Biological
In 2009 and 2010 he performed 2 long term missions within the GSK group, in the Biologicals Division.
First, he managed the Planning and Procurement team during a SAP/APO project in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux
(France).
Then, he led the Master Production Schedule implementation project with SAP/APO for the Packaging site in
Wavre (Belgium) and in Marietta (USA) in 2012.
End 2013 he started a new mission as project Leader for the implementation of a worldwide (USA, France,
Singapore, Germany) Central Planning Team based in Belgium.
Aesica Ltd
In 2014 he entered in the CMO world and started to Cooperate with Aesica Ltd in Monheim (Germany) to
reengineer their Supply Chain Planning processes and help them to achieve their Vision to become the
preferred CMO for the “Big Pharma” (Pfizer, GSK, UCB…).
Pierre Fabre
Since august 2014 he’s leading the Technological, Manufacturing and Supply Chain transformation Project
for Pierre Fabre in Brazil for Cosmetics & Drugs. Main activities included in this project were:
- Total Revamping of Cosmetic manufacturing site
- New ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamix)
- Factory Process Improvement, People Involvement & Machine efficiency
- CMO Management
- New Supply Chain Processes & Organization
- Distribution externalization to 3PL
- Manage transition from Producer status to Importer & Distributor Status in the
Pharmaceutical division
Business Expertise
