To Whom It May Concern,
I'm writing to let you know that Emmy Ross has been selected to chair the Events committee on
the TeamWomenMN Young Professionals Advisory Board. The Board is comprised of 14 women
under 40 who are emerging leaders in the Twin Cities, and we are thrilled Emmy will be leading
this group of talented women. The board members were selected through an application process
that involved a resume submission, an executive reference and letter of recommendation, and an
interview with me. I'm impressed with each of the women who have been chosen and I am eager
to see what this team will accomplish together. Being on the YPAB will provide Emmy with great
leadership experience, networking opportunities and governance experience while working to
inspire, encourage, and support women in the Twin Cities.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to briefly tell you about TeamWomenMN. I founded this non-
profit organization on the premise that we need more women in leadership positions and they are
instrumental in the success of helping create balanced leadership teams. We have four pillars of
focus: Networking, Professional Development Clinics, a Mentoring Program, and a Leadership
Conference. Emmy will be a great asset to our team, and she can tell you more about
TeamWomenMN if you are interested.
Sincerely,
Pam Borton
