2. Fall ‘94 Fall ‘12Summer ‘04 Spring ‘16
Birthday Began camp Began college Graduated
Here’s a little road map
of me and of what
we’ll see today
3. Ah, a camp site. Here’s what I owe to my
ten years at Camp Woodstock
My creative juices flow like white water rapids.
I’m deeply in love with forests and my carbon
footprint is insanely low.
I actually enjoy networking because it reminds
me of the first day at camp
I discoverd the joy of kids and play.
Actually, we’ve got a long walk till the next view point,
you wanna play a game?
4. It’s called the creation game.
(I made this one up)
So we’ll each say an object
Then sepparately think of a product
that combines each object.
Now we’ll put our heads together
and have an awesome idea.
5. Hey, there’s where I went to school
Emerson College
B.S. Marketing Communication
Minor, Environmental Studies
3.8 | Class of 2016
6. Emerson loves group projects,
part of the reason I chose the school
And I learned working amongst a diverse
set of skills can be magical.
7. 2014 I landed my first intern-
ship at a startup, LearnLaunch
(Then I fell off my bike and moved
back to CT to recover)
But silver lining, I got another
internship at Yale University
Properties coordinating for my
favorte Tennis Tounrment!
8. Then I left school for a semester and became
a traveling volunteer
Sri Lanka
Domincan Republic
Thailand & Laos
9. Here’s a zoom in on the Dominican Republic
I created, promoted and ran an afterschool program for my camp’s
partner school leading team building, games and arts & crafts.
My spanish was awful but my hand gesters were awesome.
10. I came home and immediately craved more
education - based volunteer work
I found an afterschool program nearby
Emerson to help out at
Then I joined Jumpstart, an Americorps
program closing the education gap
11. I spent Summer 2015 living the dream.
Babysitting &
Networking
and then found
