1 INT. JESSIE BEDROOM – DAY 1 2100
Alone in room, party music is playing within the background. JESSIE
is sat in front of her bedroom music applying makeup looking from
over her shoulder. Bedroom is very girly with pink walls, double bed
and mirror lit up with fairy lights around the edge of it also
„CHRIS <3‟ written with lip stick upon the mirror.
PAN UPWARDS of JESSIES feet to the top of her head exposing her
outfit
CUT TO:
2 INT. CHRIS BEDROOM – DAY 1 2101
CHRIS buttoning up his shirt with clothes all over his bedroom floor
(messy room). With boyish posters up (Motorbikes). Then once shirt
is buttoned up CHRIS goes over and applies aftershave to him then we
see him leave his bedroom.
CUT TO:
3 EXT. FOREST AREA – DAY 1 2130
Establishing shot of the forest and car driving past
CUT TO:
4 CAR INT. INSIDE CAR – DAY 1 2130
Both JESSIE and CHRIS in car (Car not yet known). CHRIS driving.
Both characters are drinking heavily while within the car loud
“Ravey” music is playing. Dancing and messing around (Hoping up and
down almost like big fish little fish actions with hands)
Suddenly car begins to slow down with smoke coming from beneath the
bonnet as the car comes to a halt next to the oaky forest.
CHRIS
For fuck sake, this is typical!
JESSIE
Calm down we will just phone someone at the party and get them to
come get us

JESSIE flips out phone however she has no reception. Puts phone in
air trying to gain reception
(CONTINUED)
JESSIE
Ermm I cannot seem to find any reception
CHRIS gets out the car slamming the door in anger
CHRIS
Come on the party cannot be far, I will get help with the car in the
morning. I believe that the house in the other side of this forest
CHRIS walks into the forest; JESSIE quickly gets out the car and
runs after him grabbing his hand tight once she gets to CHRIS.
CUT TO:
5 EXT IN THE FOREST – DAY 1 2200
CHRIS holding JESSIE around the waist securely pulling her into him.
Walking looking around the forest slow gradual steps. JESSIE has a
very scared/worried look upon her face whereas CHRIS is calm and
relaxed. The forest goes on as far as the eye can see nothing but
trees surrounding them, hard to see what‟s in front of them it‟s
that dark. Wildlife noises coming from every direction from owls,
flutters of wings and cricket noises.
JESSIE
CHRIS are you sure you know where we are going? I think we are lost
CHRIS
Of course I know where we are just another 5 minute or so walk from
here.
Suddenly CHRIS hits his foot upon a small square object which is
covered by leaves. CHRIS bends down and picks it up brushing off all
the leaves and the mud from it to expose that it is a JACK IN THE
BOX. The box is small and damaged and had an old look to it. There
are colourful pictures on the box however have been dimmed in colour
due to the damages to it.
CHRIS
Look at this like some sort of JACK IN THE BOX have not seen one of
these since I was child, I used to love playing with this
JESSIE

CHRIS just put it down its old and dirty I just want to get out of
this forest already
(CONTINUED)
JESSIE tries to hit the box out of CHRIS‟S hands however CHRIS moves
in time holding the box away from JESSIE.
CHRIS begins to turn the handle round as it musical tune starts to
play.
JESSIE
CHRIS just put it down its really creeping me out!
CHRIS
(Just sniggers while continuing to spin the handle)
CHRIS continues to spin the handle slowly round as JESSIE continues
trying to get the box out his hands to stop him.
The JACK IN THE BOX opens CHRIS stares at it for a few seconds then
blood starts to pour out his mouth and nose. CHRIS then collapses
onto the floor dropping the box next to him which is now empty and
is also has blood pouring from it. JESSIE screams then runs into the
forest.
CUT TO:
6 EXT IN THE FOREST – DAY 1 2220
Loads of different shots of JESSIE running through the forest.
JESSIE is getting caught on the tree branches and running in out of
the trees. JESSIE then stops at a giant tree and leans on it trying
to catch her breath (Heavy breathing). JESSIE takes a few moments to
try and figure out the situation which has just happened (Confused
expression).
JESSIE can hear the crunches on the leaves from footsteps coming
from every direction. JESSIE looking around frantically trying to
figure out where this noise is coming from.
JESSIE slowly peers round the side of the tree
to see CHRIS standing there with no expression
also dressed up as the same JACK from the box.

humming the same tune in what the JACK IN THE BOX was creating

JESSIE freezes (Cuts back and forth between JESSIES face and CHRIS
face)JESSIE spins and runs away from CHRIS in who is continuing to
sluggishly walk behind her.
CUT TO:
7 EXT IN THE FOREST DAY 1 2230
More fast pace shots of JESSIE running through the forest heavy
breathing.
Out of nowhere CHRIS steps in front of JESSIES path (Humming tune)
JESSIE skids falling over but quickly gets back up and continues
running across the other direction
Yet again CHRIS slumps into JESSIES path (Humming tune)
JESSIE
AHHHH Whats wrong with you?
JESSIE then spins round and runs the opposite way again this time
she sees a small cottage farm house with its lights on. JESSIE sees
the small farm house in the distance and runs towards it down a
muddy road truck leading straight to the entrance of the farm house.
8 EXT AT THE FARM HOUSE DAY 1 2243
JESSIE reaches the farm house and frantically bangs on the door
JESSIE
HELP! HELP! Please open the door!
The door creaks open she can see nothing but darkness inside the
farmhouse she walks inside the door slams shut.
7 SCREEN GOES BLACK
JESSIE screams
Then the same humming starts.
