Possible problems

Risk assessment (How to
overcome problems)

The bedroom

 The lighting of the bedroom
may be too bright or too dim
 Obstacles may get in way of
filming
 Noise coming from within
the house

 Take back up lights to
brighten up room or try and
dim the lights down
 Either move the objects that
are in the way for that shoot
or try shoot around them
 Ask the family to be quite
during shooting

Inside the car

 Trying to shoot in a confined
space
 The noise of the car engine
not being to overpowering
 Shooting while vehicle is
moving

 Plant cameras within the car
so we are able to get the
shots we would like but not
be in the way
 Record the engine noise
while stationary and add it in
afterwards

Forest

 Dark and uneasy to see
 Tripping over stuff on the
ground
 The weather may effect
filming
 Freezing cold

 Take plenty of torches with
us and spare batteries
 Look where we are walking
and clear anything that may
be a risk of tripping over
 Take blankets/coats/wellies
to wear in-between filming

Outside the house

Family inside the house being
visible from the windows
 Weather may cause ground
be slippery
 Animals creating noise
 Dark and uneasy to see
clearly

 Ask family to not look at
windows while we are
shooting
 Non slip shoes for running in
or wait until ground is dry
 Put animals furthest away
from front of house
 Check the ground for any
obstacles that may trip us
up.
