Dear Sir/Madam,
It is my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Elizabeta Gutiérrez. As
Elizabeta’s supervisor for the past year, I have worked closely with her on a day-to-day
basis. I enjoyed having her in our teaching team. We all miss her warm personality as well
as her contributions to our school community.
Even though Eli started her teaching career with us as a fresh graduate, she already had
had long experience with teaching English and Spanish courses. Nevertheless, she was
always eager to ask for feedback in order to enhance her teaching competencies. During
my class observations, she demonstrated excellent classroom management skills and a
good relationship with students characterized by mutual respect. She was patient and
helped students overcome difficulties with learning.
Not only did she work as a teacher, she was also a tutor. Tutoring is a special program at
our school, which enables students to have regular individual meetings with tutors. During
these, tutors lead conversations in which they guide their students to discover their own
potential and find ways to fulfill it. It is a great opportunity to help students grow personally.
Due to tutoring, Eli also attended several trainings aimed at the development of
communication skills.
As an employee, Elizabeta is reliable, always aware of her duties and does her best to
complete her work to a high standard. She is punctual and possesses a great deal of
organizational skills, which she showed when she was responsible for the organization of
the school round of an English competition. She was often willing to work overtime in order
to meet the deadlines. Her friendly and outgoing nature and communication skills made
her a popular member of the team.
