Employment Legislation: Health and Safety:
• When the workers work on TV or Film there can be risks to their health and
safety, but they are properly controlled, this is under the health and safety
law.
For example, in a film theatre there will be fire exits round the back of the
stage and round the front of the stage where the audience is. If a fire has
started or anything else dangerous has happened there will be a fire exit
sign glowing above the fire exit door in the dark to make the actors and the
audience can see where all the fire exits.
Health and Safety is made because it makes sure everyone is safe, wherever
it's a rollercoaster or an activity or even a film theatre.
