1. Youth Team Social Media Proposal
Goals
1. Continue to post exciting and engaging content while displaying #youth (or
the # pertaining to the post) in order to create consistency. Continue to cross
post this content on all social media platforms.
2. Implement Google Analytics (and other traffic measuring tools depending on
the platform) and analyze traffic
3. Increase Alumni Engagement
4. Edit the General Youth Team Blog
Implementation
Goal #1:
• Implement “engagement day” (ex. Teambuilding Tuesday)
• Implement a recruitment campaign for all U.S. participants from all programs
• Pull information from the newsletter and put on social media
Goal #2:
• Analyze the 2 most important pages of each programs blog
(Ex. FLEX = (1) host family recruitment page (2) student application page)
• Add measuring tools to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Flickr
• Review charts, graphs and information we get back every 2 weeks
• With the information I will update each team on what I received and we can
go from there
Goal #3:
• Post weekly open ended questions to alumni from each program
• “Engagement day” and the recruitment campaign will help create an online
conversation
Goal #4:
• Update certain sections of the blog as needed (i.e. staff section, partner
organizations, etc.)
Time Sensitive Goals
November/December:
• Bolivia and Peru Youth Ambassadors à post the YA’s blog posts *this ties in
with goal #1
• IYLEP Recruitment à raise visibility to Americans (deadline: 12/15) *this ties
in with goal #1 & goal #3
December/January:
• FLEX: host family recruitment launch campaign *ties in with goal #1 & #3
January/February:

• Email me the 2 most important pages on your blog
• Email me relevant content about your program that you want me to post on
social media during the week. Please email me this by COB every Monday
