Since prehistoric times, humans have manifested the desire to express emotions and thoughts through artistic forms. We still have imprints of people who lived 40,000 years ago, in forms of their arts. Often this is done for personal enjoyment, but frequently it serves a bigger purpose by communicating personal feelings to other human beings. This desire to be heard, and hopefully understood, has led to the formation of language, the invention of a written alphabet, the arrangement of sound into music, and the placement of colours upon a painting surface.
For me art is not just about painting but it’s a passion. Everyone does have a passion for something in life that motivates or inspire in some way.
I am also one of them and passionate about drawing and paintings that sometimes I don’t even know what I am drawing but I draw.
I remember when I was in class 1 and art teacher was teaching us primary and secondary colours. She taught us about how mixing two primary colours can make a secondary colour. I was so fascinated that as soon as I got back home I tried all possible combinations of colour mixing.
As I am growing, I am learning that paintings and arts are not just the way of expression but they can actually be therapies.
Friends …..now take a look at this painting…..how does it make you feel??
Happy or anxious?? Mysterious or soothing???
Now take a look at another one!
See this one….how you felt about this???
You felt calm?? Relaxed?? Soothing??
Artists and interior designers have long believed that color can dramatically affect moods, feelings, and emotions.
As much as the physical body requires certain nutrients to survive, so does the human soul. Painting, just like many of the arts, is therapeutic. It provides a condu-it to emotional release. This is well demonstrated in how painting is being utilized today as a means of therapy and re-habi-li-tation for traumatized individuals
In creating art, people are able to focus on their own perceptions, imagination, and feelings. They are encouraged to create art that expresses their inner world more than making something that is an expression of the outer world.
I love to translate my passion for both painting and nature. I am confident I will be able to make an impact on efforts towards protection of nature through my paintings de-pic-ting nature and its beauty. I am not an expert artist but I will surely wanna be the one if I'll get a chance. Till then, I am improving my current skill level. The best thing about your life is when you choose your passion as your career. Whether, you get this opportunity or not, Don't let your passion fail!!!
