Company Overview
OpenTek has been registered by Rwanda development Board in October 30th, 2013 by a team
of young people with a wide experience of life from different backgrounds. We are driven by
passion in technology, innovation and customer care on the top of the best technology in the
region.
We are a team of young people who have graduated from Adventist University of Central Africa
(AUCA) in faculty of Information Technology.
We commit most of our time to what we do this is why we are known to deliver on time.
General Business Activities
Our business model is based on the technological services.
Currently design and implement the following items:
 Application programs (softwares): we make different softwares for small and
medium enterprises using the latest technologies and tools. Most of our applications are
programmed using java and php and their framework like Vaadin, Strut (java) and Yii
(PHP) our applications are user friendly and secured.
 Web design and Hosting: we design and implement web content that are fully
responsive and easy to manage to everyone. We use different content management like
WordPress, SPIP and Joomla. We also develop professional e-commerce using magento
according to our customers’ requirements.
 Design and printing: with our team of passionate designers we produce logos,
Business cards and posters that meet all professional requirements using the latest
tools.
 IT consultancy: we offer different consultancy services in the field of Information
Technology like:
 Hardware support and software support
 Network Administration
 Database creation and management
 We also train users to different softwares used in everyday work.

he got a Job in QIVU as Developer in Vaadin framework, where he uses this Java framework in he’s daily
work. He worked on a huge project that manage all Netherland’s Courts. He has skills in company
management, where he attended a 7 day workshop about customer relationship, risk management,
team management and how to praise financial institution in idea efficient presentation. He is also one of
the best in network security and network administration in his class promotion. Our company growth
strategies is influenced by Olivier’s skills in SWOT analysis.

him one of the best in JAVA Programming in struts2 framework in his class promotion, he uses a ccs
framework called twitter bootstrap in web application development, content management like Magento
and SPIP and PHP framework called Yii Framework. In six month spend in CyuDa Ltd as internee in the
programming department he has worked on different projects and has gained skills in product
development. He plays guitar as a hobby.

biggest company in telecommunication known as MTN Rwanda, he has gained skills in Database
management system with Oracle and MySQL and well-educated in project management with a project
management professional. Under the supervision of Network administrator he also pursued with
networking courses experiencing network security and network management. As a Founder and
president of Rusave Farmers Coffee Cooperative (RFCC), he is an expert in business management and
strategies.
He enjoys reading novels and has a passion for coffee.

websites using WordPress and SPIP as content management system. He worked as software analyst in
that internship where he use Software Development Life Cycle to make inception report and design
caption of the software for the client of CyuDa Ltd. He worked as a sales manager in market place called
kaymu.rw for a short time and has acquired a lot of skills concerning the sales strategies and
management. He likes to play basketball in his free time and has a passion in martial arts
