Wind industry executives launch Aventage Consulting
Executives with more than 50 years combined wind, composites and automotive industry
experience, launch new renewables-focused consultancy, global business advisory &
interim management service.
Three industry senior executives have come together to launch Aventage Consulting. Aventage
Consulting is focusing on advising clients on strategy, M&A, supply chain optimisation, components
(sourcing and selling to the industry), dispute resolution, cost reduction & value engineering,
change management and business development.
Aventage Consulting’s competitive advantage is a deep understanding of renewables, gained
through many years of active leadership working for major international players.
The partners have had exposure to just about every kind of strategic and operational issue
affecting the industry's rapid growth and globalisation, over the last ten years in particular.
Lars Rytter was the former COO of Senvion, CPO of Nordex and has held senior global supply
chain, purchasing and operations roles at REpower, Suzlon, Vestas and NEG Micon.
Eddie Rae was the former Asia Pacific General Manager and Supply Chain global lead at Alstom
Wind, and has held senior global supply chain and purchasing roles at Ford and Nissan.
Ian Telford was the former CCO at LM Wind Power (Blades) and has held senior global business,
sales & marketing & supply chain roles at Dow Chemical, and worked as an associate at Deloitte
LLP in their sourcing practice.

organisations and executed value engineering”.
