This project monitors the speed and torque of induction motors in real time using a ZigBee wireless sensor network. An embedded system noninvasively acquires electrical signals from motors to locally estimate speed and torque. It then transmits these values over the ZigBee network to a monitoring unit. The system allows real-time monitoring of multiple motors and provides advantages like low cost, security, reliability, and throughput compared to alternative technologies. Simulations show plots of voltage, current, speed, and torque for different applied load values.
