1. Cell Phones at ESMS

3.  Cell phones are not to be used,
displayed, or turned on during the
regular school day.
 This includes instructional time, class
change time, breakfast, or lunch.

4.  You MAY use your phone before the
7:10 am bell or after the 2:27 bell.
 You MAY use your phone during the
school day at a designated GRR
incentive.

5.  If you are seen using your phone at
any time during the day it will be
confiscated and turned in to the
office.

6.  1st Time: Warning, pick up at the end
of the day.
 2nd Time: Detention, a parent must pick
up your phone.
 Any other time: 1 day of SLC, a parent
must pick up your phone.

7.  School is a place to learn.
 Apps, texting and games on phones
will distract you and take time away
from your learning.

9.  If you need to contact a parent for any
reason, please ask to use the
classroom phone or office phone.
 Please ask your parents not to text
you. The office will send you a
message if they call.

10.  ESMS does allow e-readers and
tablets for reading.
