As sort of Introduction, A review of the existing physical fitness tests for the purpose of establishing testing protocols considered to be more current and appropriate for the Special Program in Sports (SPS) and in the new K to 12 program, conducted through a workshop initiated by the Task Force on School Sports (TFSS), and subsequently, by the Bureau of Secondary Education (BSE), gave rise to this Physical fitness Test Manual. It is intended to be used in the public and private schools which intend to adopt the program
Passing the prescribed standards is a requirement for admission into the SPS. Moreover, under the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, Physical Fitness is one of the major goals of the Physical Education Program and shall be incorporated/adopted in the PE curriculum from Grades 4 to 12.

3. In school based record, pwede nating Makita kung anong sports ka mag eexcell or anong aspect ang iiimprove mo.. For example kung maraming underweight, ang sagot jan, FEEDING PROGRAM.
4. ANG MGA NACOLLECT NA DATA AY IBIBIGAY SA KATAAS-TAASAN AT SIYANG GAGAMITIN SA MGA BAGONG STANDARDS NA IPALALABAS, FOR EXAMPLE YUNG ATING EXCELENT SA 40 METER SPRINT, PWEDE SIYANG MABAGO BASED ON THE RECORDS PRESENTED BY THE DIVISIONS AS WELL AS THE ACHIEVEMENT GAINED BY ATHLETES IN DIFFERENT PRESTIGOUS GAMES/ COMPETITIONS
5. PARA SA MGA COACH, PARA MAPINILI ANG MAS NARARAPAT
These are the things that are necessary to be considered before rendering the PFT.
1ST – EXPALIN why we are doing the PFT , may mapapala ba sila dito, the way we explain the reason will give enough motivation for the student to perform well on the PFT and be serious with it.
2nd – This activity is done twice to infer the improvement happened to the students and if not, we can do necessary counseling or talk to them for their improvement
3rd- DO not forget the necessary materials for this and always bear in mind “SAFETY FIRST”
IF THE EQUIPMENT/ MATERIAL IS NOT AVAILABLE, WE CAN DEVIATE IN USING OTHER MATERIALS WHICH CORRELATE WITH IT. EX, CELLPHONE FOR STOPWATCH,ETC.
