International Geography,
GIScience, and Urban Health
This theme brings together thought leaders and experts
from the geography, GIScience and health disciplines to
build new partnerships and collaborations in team science,
geodesign for healthy urban environments, GIScience
methods and advances in health research, and geographic
or biomedical research addressing global health needs.
A Joint AAG-ISUH Plenary Session on Friday, April 1, will
have strong appeal to all health researchers, population
specialists, geographers, and biomedical researchers.
A special reception will follow for those attending the
plenary session.
As an added benefit, registration in either conference
allows access to the joint plenary, as well as to BOTH
conferences (AAG and ISUH).
Registrants may present papers on all aspects of health,
as well as health and medical geography and their
intersections with other branches of geography or

The overlapping meetings will be on April 1-2, 2016.
The AAG Annual Meeting will be March 29-April 2, 2016
and the ISUH Annual Meeting will be April 1-4, 2016.
