SUMMER TRAINING PROJECT
Summer Project is an integral part of the 24 months
MBA programme of Dr. APJ Technical University.
• The period for the summer training is of 8 weeks.
Objective of the Summer Project
• The core objective of this training is to
prepare the student with the awareness of
actual functioning of the organization and
explore problems faced by them in a typical
socio-economic-political business
environment for exploring feasible solutions
and suggestions.
Supervision
• During the training the student will be under the
supervision of a person in the organization who will
act as his/her corporate guide. He/she will provide
guidelines on how the student should work during
the stay with the organization.
• In addition, each student will be guided by a faculty
of the management department RBMI, Greater
Noida.
• The student will be required to report to the faculty
guide immediately after joining the company for the
project.

• Punctuality (timeliness),
• Maintaining healthy and cordial
relationship with the people in
organization.
• Understanding the work culture.
• Obeying direct orders from the
seniors.
• Try to overcome your weakness.
• Showing a sense of belonging with

• Don’ts
• Do not take the training lightly and casually.
• Do not give an impression that you are doing the
training just for the sake of it. Put your heart and
soul.
• Do not involve in internal politics.
• Do not lie to your seniors.
• Do not waste your time.
• Do not copy any material. Be original.
• Do not go for leave unless it is indispensable.
• As a part of training, the students are
required to submit a Project Report and give
a presentation to the organization, if
necessary.
• The Report Presentation on project report
and Viva on Project Report are the basis for
evaluation of the Project Work at the
University level.
• The summer training report carries 100 marks
divided into written report of 75 marks and
presentation of 25 marks.
• The students are required to give 2
presentations of their summer training
report.
• In case of failure 25 marks will be deducted at
every presentation.
• The project report should show that the student is capable of
scientific analysis of a problem and can approach the solution for
the same in a systematic manner.
• The project must provide sufficient indication that the student
is competent in successful application of acquired management
tools and skills to practical problems of industry.

systematically analyzed and tables,
graphs, diagrams also are used wherever
necessary to present the data.

Put your heart and soul. • Do not involve in internal politics. • Do not lie to your seniors. • Do not waste your time. • Do not copy any material. Be original. • Do not go for leave unless it is indispensable.
  • 7. • As a part of training, the students are required to submit a Project Report and give a presentation to the organization, if necessary. • The Report Presentation on project report and Viva on Project Report are the basis for evaluation of the Project Work at the University level. • The summer training report carries 100 marks divided into written report of 75 marks and presentation of 25 marks. • The students are required to give 2 presentations of their summer training report. • In case of failure 25 marks will be deducted at every presentation.
  • 8. • The project report should show that the student is capable of scientific analysis of a problem and can approach the solution for the same in a systematic manner. • The project must provide sufficient indication that the student is competent in successful application of acquired management tools and skills to practical problems of industry.
