Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
General Letter of Recommendation for Douglas Bingham
1. August 10, 2015
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to offer to you my recommendation of Douglas Bingham for a position of employment.
Mr. Bingham earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management/Human Resources at
Missouri State University in 2005.
The first thing I noticed when I met Mr. Bingham is that he is highly approachable and friendly. Mr.
Bingham is very mindful of the people around him, what they are saying, if they are listening and
receiving information, and if he is clearly communicating his message. Often times it is easy to find a
good listener or good speaker, but Mr. Bingham is balanced in both capacities.
Secondly, Mr. Bingham is more than able to complete daily tasks. He is proficient in data entry and
computer work, organized, familiar with marketing materials and multimedia presentations and he
is able to travel if needed.
Finally and most importantly, Mr. Bingham is an excellent candidate for this position because of his
dedication and energetic character. While a student at Missouri State University, Mr. Bingham was
involved in the MSU choir, Delta Sigma Pi (Kappa Omicron Chapter), student government, and still
often rallies in the crowds at MSU Bears Football, Baseball and Basketball games.
Thank you for your consideration of Mr. Bingham. I would be happy to answer any questions to
assist you in the decision making process as you move forward.
Sincerely,
Ashley M. Bayless
