theories of learning that resonate with my personal philosophy

Students need to relate through experiences and prior knowledge.
Ensuring students learning styles are catered for. Using Gardner’s
Multiple Intelligence Theory when planning and delivering learning.
This approach allows me to understand how students process the
information enabling me to cater to their learning needs.

Using Bloom’s Taxonomy to
support higher order thinking
activities can assist with setting
high expectations for the
students
Students would be able to
achieve the high expectations
with the right scaffolding

I believe that it is important to teach each student according to their
learning needs and scaffold the instruction to align with their prior
knowledge and experiences thus; allowing them to construct meaning
from their environments.

While the limiting feature of my
framework is the amount of
planning that is required to
provide the correct amount of
scaffolding and instruction for
each student…....
I believe that my framework will
be re-evaluated through my
career as I continue my life long
journey...
