3. Project Scope
Mr. Wang has opened a bidding competition for planning out a complete network for his new
company, Mr. Wang’s Noodles. He believes that his company will take the area by storm.
Our company, Wally’s Wiring World, was one of the first to respond to his request for proposal.
Some of the key components required by the project scope were:
o A Federated Service connected to Mrs. Robinson’s Supply Services
o Create a network schema for at least twenty more restaurants
o Ensuring that the supplied robotic movers are able to move on their assigned paths via wireless triangulations
o Having wireless connectivity through the entire structure
o Self guided tour service
4. Instillation Dates
oHardware and Software: Purchased August 8th; Arrived September 16th
oInstillation for Fiber: September 1st to September 16th
oInstillation for Cabling: September 1st to September 16th
oInstillation for Security: September 19th to October 3rd
5. Budget
For this project, we had to price out hardware, software, fiber, and cabling.
Leasing options were also given for hardware and software.
As this proposal was a bottom-up, we made sure to have a competitive price.
oTotal cost of the project when purchasing: $2,893,892.54
oTotal cost of hardware and software as a whole: $2,083,526.78
oTotal cost of the hardware and software leased: $55,717.56 over 36 months
Our company would make 10% of the total cost of the budget: $289,389.25
