Detroit is a city that is said to have a bright and hopeful future filled with many individuals that take
pride in their community. I believe that this is true. On behalf of Systems USA, I am proud to say that
one of those dedicated individual’s works for our company. Domenic Policicchio III is a resident of
Westland, Michigan. He has high hopes for the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan. At an age
younger than most in this field, Domenic already has several accomplishments in business, politics,
and in the community.
Domenic has been a part of our family for about a year. As Director of Business Development,
Domenic was responsible for bringing in $1.5 million in his first 9 months with the company. He
reduced expenditures by 10%, expenses by 25%, and the overall sales have increased by 110%. He was
recently promoted to Executive Director of Global Operations and oversees five domestic and two
international offices. He is responsible for organizing relationships between Systems USA and Oracle,
Apple, and Milsoft. With these relationships, fifteen jobs were created within the Oakland County
Community. Domenic ended the 2015 year successfully as he was named Director of the Year.
Domenic is a member of several cities’ Democratic Clubs. He is the Treasure for the Western Wayne
Young Democratic Club. Domenic is also an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce and works
to increase membership and community involvement. With these dual positions, Domenic was able
to start a program with Wayne-Westland School District to provide internship opportunities to high
school students. Domenic is also a Commissioner for the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of
Westland.
Domenic’s community involvement does not stop there, as the youngest member of the Rotary Club.
Domenic was recently honored by his commitment to impact the community in a positive way.
Domenic volunteers his time as a basketball coach for the 8th grade boys’ team at St. Mary’s in
Wayne, Michigan and as an assistant coach for the varsity girls’ basketball team at Ladywood High
School.
In conclusion, Domenic has attributes and a skill set that is far known for someone his age. He has
already been successful in business, politics, and in the community, and I believe he will continue
leaving his mark on society. He has a unique energy, drive, and integrity that make his community,
state, and country a better place.
