● Administrative support to the Director of Public Policy and other key lobbying staff. Assist on various projects as
needed, including marketing pieces, database projects and event coordination.
● Coordinate and assist member-driven trips to Washington, D.C. with the purpose to educate and develop members’
leadership and advocacy skills, enabling them to be voices for agriculture in their respective counties. Planning
consisted of coordinating flights and hotel accommodations for approximately 55 members and staff; creating
brochures with comprehensive itinerary, various information about the capital, their legislators, as well as their
assigned groups and leader information.
● Assist in grassroots-driven endorsement efforts with key district members from the state. Type meeting minutes;
update and maintain legislators’ district information for primary and general election cycles.
● Assist in yearly “Before the Harvest” event. Work with public relations team on creating marketing materials,
invitations, as well as tracking responses. Welcome guests at the event and assisted to ensure success of the event.
● Worked on in-depth district breakdowns database to analyze party strength, along with other key data to assist in
strengthening working relationships with legislators.

● Administrative support of brokers. Assisted brokers with marketing and transactional material to support projects
and business development. Coordinated marketing materials in support of listing agreements including marketing
brochures, email blasts, website details, signage, open houses and client interaction. Prepare quick turnaround
materials toward property tours, as well as pitch presentations towards new business development.
● Managed CRM and Access databases. Charged to coordinate maintenance and integrity of critical CRM sales data,
including marketing lists for niche targeted campaigns, update of individual records, data imports and merging logic
of new list acquisition. Created and continued to enhance Access property and market trending database for
dedicated brokerage team.
● Assisted one of the partners on a key Fortune 500 account. Maintained database to help monitor active projects;
inputted completed jobs into client’s proprietary online project site; created and submitted purchase order
requests in compliance of strict procedural requirements; invoiced and closed-out deals in company database for

Dura Builders/KB Homes/Indiana Land Development, Indianapolis, IN - Executive Assistant
● Executive Assistant to the owner and President of the company through 2004 and again at Indiana Land
Development 2005-2006. Began as a receptionist and was consistently promoted with the culmination of Office
Manager until the sale of Dura in 2004. Duties consisted of but not limited to: coordinated company calendar and
events; composed correspondence on behalf of the President; managed key administrative employees; and
maintained strict confidentiality and accuracy.
● 2004 company sold to KB Home. Employment retained by KB Home in Purchasing Department. Assisted in an
extensive conversion of the Dura system to KB AS400 system; performed other duties in areas of the Purchasing
Department as needed.
● 2005 worked for former President of Dura Builders in new venture of land development. Duties included, but not
limited to, coordinating preparation of government zoning meetings and active cases; write and distribute
correspondence on behalf of the President to external contacts and internal key management; serve as gatekeeper
to President’s communication and calendar; maintain correspondence and follow through with all retained land
attorneys.
