1.0 General Notes
From My perspective we need all the Virtual Machines as we had them last year (2015/16) including with
the Add-ons and Expansion pack.
The OS’s required are as Follows
 UG1 Windows 7 with SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
 UG2 Windows Server 2012 R2 Instructor 01, RWDC01, W2k801, W2k802 and a spare blank
server.
 UG3 Infrastructure Management RWDC01, Server 01, Server 02 and Storage 01
 UG3 Enterprise E Systems NAV 2013 and 2016 running on windows 10
 Open Source VM's can stay the same Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Admin and Server and a Blank.
 What would be nice is to include a Red hat VM and maybe another few flavors in the open source
VM Folder like Mint and Fedora.
 I would like space for a Windows Server 2016 VM as that needs to be tested and made this may
be later on in the year as it’s not a stable public release.
Most Virtual Machines Nizam Shaheed or I will have copies of for the above.
UG1 Web technologies and Programing Microsoft Visual studio 2015 or if not that then 2012 as 2013 has
a lot of bugs for which was great but we need the latest version which is stable.
Latest Version of the python (IDLE) Arduino and Scratch Software so we can use that for CST which is
free and open source which can be used when we have primary school visits.
For PG Business Intelligence we need SAS, JMP, QlikView IBM SPSS Statistics and Data Miner. Potential
other software may come up this year as it’s released
For the Oracle BI Suite which runs on Windows 7 VM for which Jagdev has and can provide a copy.
