22. My Mentor
It was her support and encouragement which made me try something new. I would like to dedicate my success to
her. Thanks Ginger. Ginger legacy continues....
She was my mentor, inspiration and guide. She always encouraged me to try something new.
I first met her in April 2009. As a Director/ Secretary of PMI Sydney, we invited her to conduct a PgMP®
Bootcamp. She analysed my profile and assisted me in filling my application. She worked hard with me and made
sure that I pass my PgMP® exam in my first attempt.
During the class, she announced that whoever become the first PgMP® from that batch, she will allow a license to
run PgMP® bootcamps. During my meeting with her during PMI North America Congress at Orlando in 2010, she
awarded me a license to conduct PgMP® bootcamp using her training material. After couple of years, she
encouraged me to write my own material.
