But first, to Haiti where a disease (1) has killed (2 kill) at least one
hundred and thirty five people. Officials are worried that it could be
cholera (3) - an illness (4) that can be deadly and is passed on through
food and water (5) . Following (6) the earthquake (7) in Haiti, lots of
people live in camps, where the conditions can be crowded and
unhygienic. Experts think (8) if the disease (1) reaches those areas, it
could travel quickly. The World Health (9) Organisation is working to
stop it spreading (10), their spokesperson Gregory Hartl says people
need to be educated about the disease (1).
