- 4. Where is Track and field played? • Sprinting, distance running – Played on the track • Throwing, Jumping, Pole vault – Played on the field • Can be played indoors or outdoors • Complexes are made for important track meets
- 5. When is track and field played? • Spring/summer season – Usually played outdoors – Can also be indoors – BHS plays in the spring season • Fall/winter season – Played indoors always due to cold weather
- 6. Why is track and field played? • To fulfill personal goals among athletes • Competition among schools/countries • To stay in shape • Enjoy the company of others • Builds relationships with others • It’s fun! (biased opinion)
