This is a four-part series on Knowing Your Personality, that the women in the SE region will be doing from February-May. Join us on this journey of better understanding ourselves, our relationships, our mates and our children.
7. Matthew 25:14-30
V. 16-7 The man who had received five
bags of gold went at once and put his
money to work and gained five bags
more. So also, the one with two bags of
gold gained two more, but the man
who had received one bag went off,
dug a hole in the ground and hid his
master’s money.
8. 2 Corinthians 10:5
• We demolish arguments
and every pretension that sets
itself up against the knowledge of
God, and
we take captive every thought to
make it obedient to Christ.
9. Luke 9:23
• Then he said to them all:
“Whoever wants to be my
disciple must deny themselves
and take up their cross daily
and follow me.
10. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23
• 19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have
made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many
as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to
win the Jews. To those under the law I became
like one under the law (though I myself am not
under the law), so as to win those under the
law. 21 To those not having the law I became like
one not having the law (though I am not free
from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as
to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I
became weak, to win the weak. I have become
all things to all people so that by all possible
means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the
sake of the gospel, that I may share in its
blessings.
18. Homework, Session 3
1. Study the MBPI Personality Circle, studying
the scriptures associated with your type.
2. Share two strengths (and how God views
them) with your discipleship group.
3. Pick one weakness and its associated
coping mechanism. Does this resonate with
you? Ask those closest to you. Decide to
commit this weakness to prayer and
repentance over the remaining part of
2016.
