Engineer and current avocation as a Technical Writer thatincludes over fifteen years
experience writingtechnical documentation in Start-ups, Fortune 500, Travel,Airline,
Aerospace, Research, Legal, Bio-tech and GMP environments.
I have participated in all phasesof productdevelopment from identifying
corporate/projectneeds, writingproposals,designingproducts/documentation,
implementing and maintainingthe products,producingartifacts to supportthe
development team, to providingend-user support.Work environments have ranged
from a start-up company environment to a largecorporate environment, including
ALG (Travel Industry platform), Boeing (Onboard Networking SDK), OneOcean (large

guides, white papers, overviews, end-user manuals,GMP documentation, training
manuals,collaborativebook chapters (on test design),example code and other
documents to support the development team and management.
At Boeing I produced a maintenance manual for a new releaseof their Onboard
Networking System and updated their existingSDK for a RESTful API netwrok.
At OneOcean, I worked as A Senior Technical Writer where I performed gap analysis
on the existingdocumentation set and produced a manifest of required documents
and timelines for their delivery.I created templates, a style guide, a glossary,process
graphics,REST examples, and organized storagein SharePoint and Confluence in
addition to the actual content.
Prior to OneOcean, I produced documentation on numerous projects but most
immediately at Dendreon workingin an agiledevelopment environment advisingthe
clienton improvements to their documentation set and supportingthe development
teams with team artifacts and by identifyingdocumentation requirements for all
software revisions.Theprocess of identifyingdocumentation requirements included
proactively workingwith Change Control and Dendreon QA to identify what had
historically been done and what processes were in place. I assisted the test
department as needed to manually run tests for product releasein order to meet
deadlines.
