02 Project Name SA Web Viewer and District Forecasts and Alerts
Name of the Client Southern California Edison, USA
Description of the project
Southern California Edison (SCE) needed to develop a GIS based Weather application for its GRID
Operations, Business Resiliency and Energy Supply & Management groups.
GIS application was developed by sourcing Weather data from a Weather company and integrating it in
the SCE GIS environment. The application had following components:
1. Forecast Report – Forecast of various weather parameters for next 3 days emailed to users
2. Alert Report – Alerts generated if specific weather parameter goes above provided threshold values
and sent as email & Text messages.
Your Role in the project : Senior Software Developer
3. 7588313319 zan350@gmail.com
Proprietary Tools /Frameworks /
Methodologies used in the project
: ESRI GIS, Oracle, MS Visual Studio
Responsibility : 1. Worked specifically on development of ‘Data Adapter’
module which queries WSI DATA CLOUD API, parses
information for weather parameter values from the same
and stores it in ESRI Geodatabase/Oracle.
2. Was solely responsible for developing Alert & Forecast
Report. This is a console application developed using
C#.Net extracts data from Oracle tables using complex
SQL queries and creates an excel report for the same.
Forecast report generates information such as min-max
temperature, min-max snow, min-max rain for next 3 days
extracted from hourly data. Alerts Report calculates
weather values exceeding custom threshold values in next
3days. It also calculates start/end times of these Alerts for
each of the 35 SCE districts. SQL queries as well as Spatial
Queries were utilized for these reports
3. Worked as a member of testing team of the web viewer.
Prepared test cases and executed them as a part of
functionality testing. Weather Parameter Data displayed on
the map was validated & verified
Duration of the Project : From : Oct 2014 To : May 2015
Software : C# .NET, Arc Objects, Oracle, SQL Developer
03 Project Name SQLLite2SQLSever Tool
Name of the Client SCE, USA
Description of the project
Data was stored in SQLite database which did not provide complex query executions and also
hampered its analysis against SAP data stored in MS SQL Server. So there was a need to migrate
SQLite DB into MS SQL Server DB which allowed the same.
Earlier I developed the tool for data export specific to one set of data which had identical table
structure and was exporting the data from multiple tables to one table in SQL server.
However, data was changing and multiple non-identical table structure data needed a tool which
can help in exporting all data to SQL server as it was arranged in tables
Your Role in the project : Senior Software Developer
Proprietary Tools /Frameworks /
Methodologies used in the project
: MS Visual Studio
Responsibility : 1. Developed a generic tool which will read the SQLite data
4. 7588313319 zan350@gmail.com
including data structure and create and export all the tables
and data in SQL server.
2.Made the tool configurable for including tables and columns
3. From performance point of view I tested around 4.5 GB
SQLite data (11.2 million records) exported in approx. 15
minutes.
Duration of the Project : From : May 2014 To : Oct 2014
Software & Databases : C#, SQLite, MS SQL Server
04 Project Name McDonald’s Rider Tracking
Name of the Client McDonald’s, USA

through a web portal which can track all the riders in the vicinity of a McDonald’s outlet. To Achieve this
they wanted a customized GPS tracking web portal which would track the orders as well as Riders
delivering the same to have optimum usage
Your Role in the project : Senior Software Developer
Proprietary Tools /Frameworks /
Methodologies used in the project
: MS Visual Studio, Google APIs
Responsibility : 1. Was involved in making the Initial Design Document for a
Rider Tracking System.
2. Built the basic User Interface for RTS using Google Map API
including Login module created interacting with web
service of Client’s
3. Successfully Incorporated Rider Selection through Grid-
View and refreshing Rider Position on map
4. Implemented Separate Rider Information to be pulled from
database.
Duration of the Project : From : Mar 2014 To : May 2014

05 Project Name NeapolJS
Name of the Client Orange, Switzerland
Description of the project
Orange has its own GIS based Intranet and internet Portal which was using a customized Web Content
Management System from Tydac known as ‘NeapolJS’. The System was hosted on an application server
which was in turn getting inputs from a Data Center Server. Data in different formats was converted to
required GIS format and consumed by GIS System
Your Role in the project : Senior Support Engineer
5. 7588313319 zan350@gmail.com

Sheet to help understand the end-to-end relationship
between Application and various FMW scripts. Also
understand the source/flow of data for all these
application.
3. Preparing a comprehensive GIS Document for future
analysis which encompasses all the applications hosted
and troubleshooting both the servers along with
NeapolJS.
