Set of conclusions based on research findings producing a conclusive report, concluding: audience research, genre research, graphic elements, house style and contents pages.

1. CONCLUSION:
• AUDIENCE RESEARCH: all magazines have a target audience of 18 plus. However, most
identify to have an audience of mothers, who are unemployed or part-time workers.
• GENRE RESEARCH: the genre of the magazines is 'real life'. All magazines use similar
codes and conventions in representing this genre which is stereotyped as a female genre.
The audience expects almost hilarious content of real-life stories.
• GRAPHIC ELEMENTS: both the contents page and front cover tend to use similar graphic
elements. These include main coverlines, flashes, similar colour schemes, a variety of
additional cover lines and images, a masthead and use two different font types (serif and
sans serif).
• HOUSE STYLE: I will construct my magazine to have the masthead on both front cover
and contents pages at the top of the pages. I will also use the colour pink as a dominant
colour. Main colour's used will be yellow, pink and blue. Additionally, I will use females in
main images due to that being a trend in their magazines.
• CONTENTS PAGE: my contents page will be separated into different sections: on the
cover, real life, life and style, fashion, your prize puzzles and your health.
