BACKGROUND
I am a Bozeman, Montana native and now teach and coach other
teachers in Lander, Wyoming. I was raised in the outdoor paradise of
Bozeman, Montana. My husband and I have raised two incredible
young men (18 and 19) that will be studying wildlife biology,
geology, and mechanical engineering at MSU-Bozeman this coming
Fall. I am a former professional mogul ski racer, barrel racer,
waitress, hiker, and overall outdoorswoman. My first eight years of
teaching took place at St. Labre Indian School and we spent much
time in the Bighorn Mountains. This initial teaching experience,
combined with the teaching and instructional coaching at Lander
have taught me so much about teaching, friendship, loyalty, and hard
work.
