- My responsibilities include reviewing individual federal income tax
returns that involved Schedules A, C, D, E and related forms. The
taxpaying public (i.e., taxpayers and their representatives) would be
notified their tax return was being examined, and I interview them in a
meet and deal format, so people skills are a must.
- After the interview, if any adjustments were proposed, an examination
report would be issued that detailed the results of the examination and
explanations as to why an adjustment was proposed. For this aspect,
writing skills are needed to adequately explain the reason for the
adjustment.
- I possess over twenty-nine years of being employed with IRS, which
includes being on-the-job instructor for newly hired employees.

- Audited utility companies who requested and increase in rates charged
to their customers. This included at times travelling within the state to
examine company books and records.
