SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
As a Senior Level Marine Corps Staff Non-Commissioned Officer, I have been responsible for a wide range
of leadership and training activities. I have designed and implemented several training programs for junior
Marines and Foreign Military. I have demonstrated the ability to complete complex and dangerous missions
while remaining sensitive to the morale and well being of those under my charge.
As the Staff Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Rocky Mountain District Injured Support Cell for the
United States Marine Corps’ Wounded Warrior Regiment Transition Support Program; I have been directly
charged with supporting the transition needs of 170 Marine Veterans transitioning from Active Duty to
Veteran/Civilian. This includes facilitating their VA benefits/healthcare needs, employment support,
mentorship, and athletic reconditioning needs. I have directly supported 5 Marine Corps Trials and 4 Warrior
Game competitions. I have designed several programs to address PTSD and athletics to include RONIN
Adrenaline Control Training and RONIN Motorcycle Race Teams; in-order to address the need for Veteran
support groups within the community. As a Combat Injured Veteran I am able to connect with and provide
oversight of the welfare and quality of life of our wounded ill and injured veterans from an experienced
prospective.
Serving as the Wounded Warrior Regiment primary point of contact in the Rocky Mountain Region for the
past 5 years, I have created and fostered a network of transition support services, through non-
governmental resources, that is unparalleled. This network will follow our veterans through every aspect of
the transition process including health, benefits, education, employment, athletics, mental health, and
mentorship support.
As a Program Director, I have designed and implemented several outdoor veterans reconditioning programs
for Wounded Warrior and Veterans in transition. This includes tutoring, employment, and mentorship
programs. I am responsible for a caseload of twenty-five transitioning Veterans in which our primary goal is
to keep them from alienating themselves and reconnecting with hometown America. While directing this
program I mentored and supervised the participant’s activities to include community service and outdoor
recreation.
