qualifiers (Melanie Rowland, Kaitlin Burke, Cassie Sorna)
Daily Duties: Design and run daily dryland workouts. Work with all groups on stroke
technique and goal setting both athletically and academically.
Administrative Duties: Make team travel arrangements, monitor academic progress of
student athletes, supervise student workers, administer student forms, maintain team records
and statistics, complete trip settlements for Business Office, provide Sports Information
department with information for publications and press releases, and assist Equipment staff with
distribution and maintenance of athletic equipment. Utilized Microsoft Word and Excel.
Recruiting Duties: Identify and contact prospective student athletes, arrange and plan
all campus visits. Work with compliance on completing all paperwork dealing with student

Community Service
Big Brother Big Sister- Greater Chesapeake 2013-2014
Mentored an eleven year old girl with mild special needs. We met every two weeks, and spoke
on the phone weekly.
Cystic Fibrosis Swim Meet 2012-2013
Developed a swim meet to raise awareness and money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Worked closely with the foundation, Wagner College, and the surrounding communities to run a
successful meet. Designed tshirts and bracelets made to generate money. Swim caps were
donated by our outfitters. The local community and the Northeast Conference became involved.
The meet is stilling running.
